Summer leaves resist disease, and are a glossy dark green. People often admire their shape.

‘Forest Green’ Hungarian oak in Palo Alto, fall color and bark. For better or worse, there’s been no acorn production on 14-year old trees, at least in Palo Alto.

A mature Hungarian oak in Europe. Please note the lush foliage and strong branching structure. Recommend at least a 6’ x 6’ planting area to accommodate trunk - these trees, like most oaks, are deep rooted.
